Class Registration Policy:
Registration and payment MUST be done at least a week before the date of the class; this provides a minimal amount of time for the instructors to prepare for the class. Registration can be done in person at a meeting, or online. Always include contact info (email address and phone no., plus date and time and title of class, cost, check number) when registering for a class. If you pay at a meeting with cash, please be sure to get a receipt. No late sign-ups are permitted unless approved by the instructor in advance of the class; no walk-ins allowed. A late fee of $10 will be assessed for late registration. If you do get permission to register late, contact class coordinator to determine how to pay.
Cancellation Policy:
There will be no refunds given on classes canceled by the student after the registration deadline (one week before the start of class). A student who cancels will receive class handouts and any materials that are supplied by the instructor. If you are unable to come, please let the instructor know as soon as possible.
Class Fees:
A fee of $5 for Thursday classes and $10 for Saturday classes will be added to each class fee, effective immediately. These additional fees will go directly to the BBS.

Skill level: no prior experience necessary. Must have average hand strength.
Students will learn to cut curves in stained glass, making a sunflower mosaic with a beaded center (or a small round mirror, if preferred). Grouting will be demonstrated, and done at home after a day or more.
Supply List:Included in kit fee: Primed 8″ MDF substrate, stained glass, Weldbond glue, grout to take home, use of tools, and all paraphernalia needed for the process. Also a small round mirror if preferred to beaded center.
Strung seed beads, size 6, for seeds, to be provided by student.
Crystal Cascade Earrings

Students will create elegant earrings featuring a luxurious cascade of crystals, while learning simple wire work techniques, including how to make simple loops and properly open and close jump rings.

Registration Info
Baltimore Bead Society classes meet the third Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Often, there is more than one class to choose from on the same night. Class fees are $20 per class for members, $25 for non-members of BBS. Registration and payment MUST be done at least a week before the date of the class, as instructors need time to purchase materials and make kits. No late sign-ups are permitted unless the instructor has been contacted and is in agreement. A late fee of $10 will be assessed. Registration can be done in person at a meeting, or online. Always include contact info (email address and phone no.) when registering for a class.
Purchase of a moderately-priced kit from instructor is sometimes required. See individual class listings.
If you would like to teach a class, please download and fill out the BBS Teaching Application, and return it to us. The BBS Workshop Coordinator will review all applications and contact you about your proposed class!
